Idaho State Education Tax Credits Available
The State of Idaho is offering people the opportunity to receive major tax credits and deductions by simply making a gift to CityHope Christian Schools. Your gift to the school of up to $2,000 can be taken as a deduction on your state and federal income taxes. But it doesn’t stop there. You can then also receive a state income tax credit of up to $1,000. For example, if a family made a donation to the school of $2,000; after taxes, the gift will only cost them $344. The details of this amazing tax credit is further explained below in our examples below.
The deal gets even better if a corporation makes a gift. If you know of any businesses or business owners who may be interested in tax benefits like this, please let us know. We would be happy to call them and further explain the tremendous tax savings available to them. As an example, if a business were to give $10,000 (the maximum allowed), after the state income tax credit and the deductions they’d be allowed, that $10,000 gift would cost them $840. (see below for details)
Now, this opportunity does not only apply to lump-sum gifts of $2,000 or $10,000. A gift of any amount is able to be a blessing to the one making the gift, through tax credits and deductions, while at the same time being a blessing to the school. Would you consider making a gift to CityHope Schools this year? As we prepare for our new campus, this would be a tremendous help! You can donate lump-sum, monthly, weekly or any other combination as long as either it is received it in the campus office by December 31, or if it is sent through the mail, it must be postmarked by December 31.
Feel free to direct any questions you may have about this to either Pastor Ted Buck or Pastor Ryan Shervik. Both can be reached at our campus office (376-7272) or by email.
