My Feet Were Made For Walking Part 5

I was shopping at Home Depot and as I was finishing checking out, the cashier asked the gentleman behind me how he was.  His answer made me smile.  He said,

I guess I could complain but I don’t have any excuses.

I thought, he just has made my day better.  In recent years, I made a decision.  I decided that I would thank the Lord as often as possible for his faithfulness.  Thanking him reminds me of his activity in my life and brings his presence as well.  Thanking also reminds me of God’s activity in other peoples’ lives.

We’re sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one. None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s

My Feet Were Made for Walkin’ and every day I will walk in thanksgiving and trust.  The stranger at Home Depot helped me to walk a little lighter.  I hope I will bring a smile to a stranger on some random day and that stranger will feel that a part of God just breezed by.
