All the Psalms for the April 7th reading are so encouraging for us all in this day and where everything is so uncertain. He tells us to sing for joy and shout aloud to our God! In the next verse it says I removed the burdens from their shoulders. If we have ever needed our burdens lifted, it's now! He rescues us and tells us to open our mouths wide and He will fill us up.
I think of everything that is going on and then I read David's song of commitment for the righteous and I say Lord I want to sing of your love. Lord help me to live a blameless life and conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart.
I love that if He kept a record of all our sins, who of us could stand. But instead, with Him is forgiveness. But what I love is that He forgets our sins and restores us to our original state of innocence just as of we've never sinned.
This is so important for all of us to grasp. How perfect the salvation of the Lord is to each one of us and how completely He blots out our sin and makes new creations in Him. Remember His wonders and His gracious compassion.
Happy Mother's day and don't forget breakfast this Sunday morning at 8:45. You can pick it up and take it into Sunday School class with you.
See you there.
