Pastor Ryan spoke this week out of the second chapter of Philippians as part of the ongoing series on the book of Philippians entitled "Impossible". The focus of this weeks sermon centered around the idea of unity and humility. Paul's emphasis on these to themes run throughout the entire letter. He uses Christ as the supreme example of what true love and humility look like and ties it directly to the unity that they should have in contending for the gospel yet seem to be lacking. This message is a very candid look at the roles humility can play in our life even today and ties with last weeks sermon on the confidence that we can have in Christ. Confidence and Humility are not mutually exclusive. Christ calls us to have both and to operate and live in them both at the same time in our efforts to share the gospel with a world that is in need.
