Time for a Miracle

This past Sunday the focus of the message was family miracles.  What God wants to offer to struggling couples who are still married is an alternative to divorce.  So many times in a marriage the answer seems to be that it is time to move on.  When people paint a picture in their minds about what things will look like after the divorce, that picture is rarely what they get.  The perception is that the divorce will make an unhappy situation much happier.  It will undue the seeming mess that the marriage has made of your life.  Put simply, divorce is the path to a better life.  Or so it would seem. The fact is that divorce can never deliver what it seems to promise...that is wiping the slate clean and starting fresh, all over again.  The fact is that you are starting again but you are not the same person that you were before you married the first time...and you never will be.  The Bible says two become one.  And when that happens, you are never un-oned with your spouse.

God wants to offer you family miracles.  He wants to take you down the path of reconciliation.  He wants to bring healing into a relationship that has become raw, torn and ugly.  Even though we may not be able to see exactly what the end of those family miracles look like, it carries with it God's blessing and God's promise of His provision.  And where divorce never keeps its promises, God never fails.

God wants you to have a forever view of marriage.  He offers help and healing.  Psalm 146:3 says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."  Rather than looking for loopholes, looking for justifiable reasons to start walking down the path of divorce, instead look at the path of reconciliation.  Look at the possibilities for restoration.  And let God shower down Family Miracles on your home.  If you are struggling in your marriage, don't go it alone.  Give us a call at (208) 376-7272.  Let's get in line for your miracle.
