Just like in NBC's singing competition "The Voice", many times as Christians, we feel that we are giving it all we have, belting out the song of our lives, just waiting and hoping that God's chair will turn. That he will choose us, speak to us, guide us and mentor us. Have you ever wanted to hear the voice of God in your life, but feel that you never will? Have you ever wondered why it seems that other people hear from him all the time and you seem to be left out in the cold desperately waiting for Christ to "Turn his Chair" and call your name?
Pastor Ryan begins a two week look at hearing the Voice of God in our lives and how when we do we begin to see that we have found our own voice at the same time. Taking Luke 24, and the story about the two disciples on the road to Emmaus as a basis for this series Ryan unpacks what it is that God is speaking to each and every one of us as well as bringing attention to the roadblocks that often hinder us from hearing his voice to begin with.

This video stunningly shows what it was that Jesus meant when he said in John 10:27 that "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me." To Jesus' audience this statement would have made total sense. Do we have ears to hear? Are we listening to our shepherds voice and following him ?
