We Need a Whole Bunch of Eugenes

This morning was a powerful and emotional morning as we had an opportunity to hear from Steve Gordon who shared a wonderful testimony about the life and influence of the man he had the privilage to call Dad. His father in law Eugene was a man who loved God and his family and he spent his life connect the two to each other in many ways. The impact and legacy that this man had on future generations is incalculable. Don't miss this inspiring testimony and begin living your own testimony today.

HIs life demonstrated the Power of the Gospel. The question that we must begin asking ourselves is "What does God want to do and accomplish through your life?" He is looking for A Whole Bunch of Eugene's.

The Power of Dad

The Power of Dad

Today is Fathers Day. Fathers play such an important role in our lives and they should ultimately reflect the heart of our father in Heaven. But often that is not the case. But even if that is so it does not take away from who God is and the Father that he is. He loves us and he pursues us with a fathers love that is impossible to fully grasp.

Summer of Change

Summer of Change

SUMMER OF CHANGE Part 2: Summer can be a time of slowing down and putting things on autopilot. But this summer we want to ramp things up and see some really amazing change happen in the lives of people as well as in the health and life of our church. Start with us on this journey we look to have the best summer we may possibly have ever had.

Who's At Your Table

Who's At Your Table

Do you remember when you started going to a new school and lunchtime came.  You stepped into as cafeteria and didn't know a soul.  You wonder to yourself, "At which one of all these tables will I be welcome."  As the days pass,  thins change and we have a table.  The people at our table like you and are like you as well.  Now that we are out of school, figuratively speaking, who is at your table?

Cheerful Givers Not Fearful Givers

70 Days To Easter.png

Did you know that American Christians give proportionally less today to the church than we did during the Great Depression.  That should not be.  Part of the problem is that we have allowed the voice of generosity to be silenced.  We need to change that.

Some key points from the message:

Jesus measures our offering not by what we give, but by what we have left.

What would you do if God called you to give beyond your comfort level?

Everyone has a threshold when it comes to giving.

Many times we simply "what if" ourselves out of giving the way God is asking us to.

I see two kinds of givers:  People who give what's left over, and people who give off the top and live on what's left over.

What kind of giver are you?

Young Jesus

Young Jesus

This week we start a 70 day journey toward Easter. 10 weeks. During this time we will be reading through the gospels as a church, and be looking at the life of Christ in our Sunday services. We invite you to come with us on this 70 day journey, whether it is by joining us on a Sunday morning, reading along with us in our reading plan through the gospels

What Heaven Saw

What Heaven Saw

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Our annual Christmas Candlelight Service was one that was filled with the hope of the season and one that was truly special this year. As we finished our Fresh Eyes - Seeing Christmas in a New Light series we spent time looking at What Heaven Saw that night in Bethlehem. It was on this night that all of history and mans relationship with God was forever changed.

Show Me A Sign

Show Me A Sign

This is part three in our series looking at Christmas with Fresh Eyes. So often we want a sign in life. We may have even spoke those words into the sky asking God to show up in some way and show us a sign that we might know the way. We want to encourage you today with the message and hope of Christmas by looking at this very phrase and the implications and impact that it can have on our lives especially at Christmas.

Shine

I read recently, "God didn't create a mission for His church, He created a church for His mission."
His mission is to reach as many people as possible, as quickly as possible.  In order to accomplish HIs mission, we are to be a relentless church because we do have the only real answer to the puzzle of life that people around us are seeking to put together.
