A Thrill of Hope

A Thrill of Hope

With Pastor Ted still without his voice, he and Linda give a powerful message this morning on the power of gift giving by reminding us of the the gifts we have been given. This service was a party. At the end of the service every person in attendance received a wrapped gift for themselves to take home and a gift to give to someone else this next week as a gift from the church.

MIRACLELAND Part 2

MIRACLELAND Part 2

This morning in a follow up message that continues the challenge of living in miracleland he challenges us with the idea that we need to demystify miracles and understand that they are natural and the way that God moves and interacts with people on a regular basis. The amazing part of the whole thing is that he actually asks us to be participants with him. Not weird people but normal people who are living daily in miracleland. Blessing and sharing hope with the people that God brings our way.

Recounting events like the time he came around a bend in thr road with his family and there were cows five deep covering the whole road. They didn’t have time to do anything but call out on the name of Jesus and they were on the other side of them with the cows in the rearview mirror.

Re-Digging The Wells

Re-Digging The Wells

Christ is coming again for his bride, the church. We have to re-dig and re-discover this fact and make sure that we are prepared for that day. God said that he came that no one should perish. He loves you and and he is doing everything he can to connect you to the saving truth of the gospel. That is what the gospel means; it is good news.

Re-Digging The Wells

Redigging The Wells.png

Just like today WATER RIGHTS were a big deal in the world of the Old Testament. Sometimes they need to be contended for. Sometimes they need to just be remembered. So often in life we forget that we have WATER RIGHTS. Given to us by God. In today's sermon Pastor Ryan takes a look at Genesis 26 and what the significance of Isaac's pursuit of the WATER RIGHTS that God had given to his father meant and connects it to the fact that God is calling us to day to redig some wells in our own lives.

What wells need re-digging in your life?

What are some promises that God has made that you have let go of, forgotten about, convinced yourself that you are disqualified for or simply walked away from?

What wells have you had filled in on you? (maybe even by your own doing)

This weeks message is one of hope and one that challenges us to pick up a shovel and begin to dig again the wells God has given us. To again chase the dreams he has given us. To not be content with wells that are only 3 feet deep but to dig and keep digging the rest of our lives.
